I want to announce with very mixed feelings that Coach Clarke will not be back next season He has accepted the position of Athletic Director at Newburyport HS. It is a great job for Coach Clarke but he struggled with the decision not to be able to continue here @ Tufts. I know you all wish him great success as he takes on this new chapter in his career. I want to thank him for all he has done for Tufts Baseball for well over 20 years, he will be sorely missed. Bob Clarke was the anchor of our program, his unmatched work ethic, steadfast loyalty and genuine care for all Tufts ballplayers will be impossible to replace. On a personal note Bob has been a very close friend, we shared many ups and downs for over two decades. He has enriched my life and my family's lives just as he has had a profound impact on many a players life. I cannot thank him enough and wish him all the success and joy he truly deserves in his new endeavor. We are working on a way to show our appreciation to Coach Clarke and I will keep you informed as things progress. If you want to be involved with this just let me know.
