It was an exciting weekend for Jumbo baseball. The Captains had their annual Halloween game on Huskins Field. The three contest winners as voted on by Gracie and Cooper were Harsha Bollu as Aladdin, Peter DeMaria as Woody, and Michael Volgende as Thor. A clean sweep of the awards by the sophomore class!

On Sunday we had the 2nd annual Closer to the Cure Bowl-a-thon at Lucky Strike Social in Boston. The turn out for the event was fantastic and it was a great way for some current and former Jumbos to spend their Saturday afternoon. Two teams participated in the bowl-a-thon for the Jumbos', a team of current players (Elias Varinos, JP Knight, Brent Greeley, Kyle Cortese, William Burgess, Peter DeMaria, Ryan Noone, Connor Flavin, and Jack Schwartz) and a team of Jumbo Baseball Alumni (Speros Varinos, Tim Superko, Harry Brown, Nick Falkson, Will Shackelford, Harrison Frickman, Casey Santos-Ocampo, and RJ Hall). It was an awesome day of bowling for the Jumbos, Cooper, the Martins, and several of there family and friends.
