Well 2014 was certainly a better “weather “ event than 2013. The Jumbo Alums responded well with much better attendance. It was, as always, a great evening with lots of chicken wings and friends exchanging holiday greetings. The raffle proved once again to be a highlight as multiple winners Ben Simon and Steve Lapham exhibited a lot of holiday luck. Matt Lyman walked off with the grand raffle prize. It was also a nice way to send off Coach Kevin Casey as he has accepted a job on the Northeastern University baseball staff. Coach Kev has done a great job for the Jumbos and we owe him our gratitude and respect. The Huskies have made a great hire. We are currently looking to fill Coach Kev’s spot for the 2015 season and then plan to conduct a more extensive search after the season in May for his replacement.
